Amaranthine Visions

"Amaranthine" means forever, unchangeable, permanent.

The birth of the universe... the intertwining of elaborate borders. It had a lot going for it, very dense... hard to read. I wanted to capture the creation of an entire universe in the old Heavy Metal magazine style.

Did it succeed? Well, no. It got a gushing response from Last Gasp comics back in 1994... where they immediately called out the awkward format, which made it unworkable to print.
